    EACOP Tanzania Internship Program 2026, 9 Positions – April 2026

    The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is a Midstream development located across Uganda and Tanzania that includes a nearshore Marine Storage and Export Terminal (MST). Once completed, the EACOP Company will operate the East African Crude Oil Pipeline, a 1,443 km long, thermal insulated crude oil export pipeline that transports oil from Kabaale – Hoima in Uganda to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga Port in Tanzania for crude export to the international market.

    The Aim
    The EACOP internship programs focus on cultivating intern talent by providing hands-on experience and industry exposure. These programs support local content by engaging young professionals in various departments, enhancing their technical and professional skills. This initiative contributes to regional socio-economic growth and ensures sustainable development within the East African energy sector.

    Selection Criteria for Internship Program
    Must provide a letter from the university and a copy of a student ID.
    Current academic scores must reflect a potential minimum of an upper second degree.
    Must be available full-time for the duration of the Internship period.
    Excellent verbal & numeracy skills and problem-solving ability.
    Good communication skills and positive attitude.
    Must write and submit an internship application letter.

    Time frame: The Internship program will start on July 1 to September 30, 2026.

    Note: Only university students are eligible. Shortlisting begins immediately, and only shortlisted interns will be contacted. Interns will be selected strictly on merit. Any form of canvassing is prohibited. Only applications submitted through the stated website will be considered. Female candidates and individuals with disabilities are highly encouraged to apply.

    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) from a recognised university or a master’s degree.

    Department: Local Content

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in law, Community Development, or a related discipline, with a strong background in data management and Excel.

    Department: Finance

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

    Department: Projects (Project Controls)

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing B.A in Public Admin/Human Resource Management.

    Department: HSE (Environment)

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in environmental management/science/engineering or a related field.
    Fluent in English (written and spoken).

    Department: Field Operations Logistics (FOPS)

    Number of Interns: 01 (implied)
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, customs, and warehouse management.

    Department: Social & Economic Investment

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a Business Administration, Social Sciences, Sociology and Development Studies.

    Department: Human Resources

    Number of Interns: 01
    Qualification/Course: Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human resource management and business administration.
